To issue an Employment Visa, a lot of documents are required, such as; passport copy, attested education certificate, etc. First, we need to apply from the Ministry of Human Recourses and Emiratisation. Once we receive the approval from the MOHRE (Ministry of Human Recourses and Emiratisation) then we can apply from the new residence visa.
Your employer has to obtain the work permit on your behalf. It is the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) that’s in charge of issuing work permits for the UAE.
The application process for a UAE work permit is:
- The employer prints the application for the work permit at the TasHeel website, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation online system
- They submit the required documents
- The Ministry reviews their application, and asks to resubmit any documents or correct any irregularities they think are necessary
- The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation issues the approval
After the approval you received from the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, your employer has to apply for a Residence Visa for you from the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) of the emirate where you are employed.
Once your application is approved, the GDRFA will issue an Employment Visa (Residence Visa for employment purposes) you then have to do your medical fitness test , biometrics for Emirates ID (if first time visa) and then residence stamping application will be typed .You will receive an Emirates ID as your last step, valid for the same duration as the visa.
